Episode 0: What we have in common
This is episode zero of The Jamerrill Show. It is an open door and an invitation. In this episode Jamerrill reflects on nearly 15 years of sharing life online and the many seasons she and her audience have walked through together. From motherhood and homesteading to deep personal loss, health struggles, and rebuilding her one life from the ground up, she shares why now is the right time for this show. The Jamerrill Show is not about perfection. It’s about companionship, encouragement, and honest conversations for women who are healing, growing, and rebuilding even while the storm is still raging. With the launch of four initial episodes, Jamerrill shares a new home of content and resources planned at Jamerrill.com, and plans for future guests and conversations.
“We don’t have to have matching storms. What we have in common is that we’re healing, rebuilding, growing and taking care of ourselves so we can take care of our people.”

Key Takeaways
This show is a long time coming.
After nearly 15 years of sharing life online, the podcast is a long awaited continuation of the relationships built online. A natural next step shaped by seasons changing, both hers and the women who’ve walked alongside her all these years.
Rebuilding is the heart of everything here.
This isn’t about having it all together. It’s about rebuilding while life is still loud, messy, and unfinished. Healing, growing, and moving forward sometimes with a kitten-claw grip on hope.
Her story is part of the companionship, not the spotlight.
From health crises to movement becoming medicine, from devastation to endurance, her journey is shared not to impress but to say, you’re not alone in this.
The Jamerrill Show is intentionally imperfect and human.
Dishes in the sink. No sugar-coating. Real conversations for overwhelmed, exhausted women who want hope that feels honest, not curated.
This is a multi-platform home, not just a podcast.
The show lives across the second YouTube channel, the audio podcast, and Jamerrill.com creating a central place for encouragement, resources, and community as this next chapter unfolds.

We’re doing this right. I’m proud of us. My heart behind starting the Jamerrill Show is I have been sharing online for well over a decade now. I think we’re actually nearing the 15-year mark. It has been a while. I’ve had a whole online journey in various seasons of my life that I have shared with continually for all these years. And so many of you have been with me 5 years, 10 years, 12 years, 14 years. It’s been a long time.
For many of my online friends, I’ll hear that we were pregnant. We’ve been pregnant at different times in different seasons with different babies. I love hearing from women who maybe found me online through some matrix when they were in college and now they’re a young mom with three kids or four kids. Or women who maybe now are empty nesters and they’re grandmothers, but they have just been following along my journey all these years together. And so having a podcast is something that so many of you have asked me about for many years.
I remember even back in 2018, I bought the mic, I got some headphones, I lived at the Forest House, and I thought, ‘Okay, I’m going to start a podcast now, and we will talk all about homeschooling and food, right?’ Because that’s what we did a lot of then. And as life and seasons have changed, and many of your lives and your seasons have changed right along with mine, I am now walking out my third year in a whole new life season. Where, as I like to say, I’m in a different universe, and I have been keeping my feet on this planet and rebuilding my one life along the way.
And so many of you watched me be completely devastated over on my main YouTube channel, Jamerrill Stewart. I’ve had that channel for over a decade. And on that main channel, you came for the slow cooker meatloaf, the slow cooker meatloaf recipe while I was barefoot and pregnant or making laundry soap barefoot and pregnant over on my main YouTube channel. And sold that farmhouse, moved to the Forest House, had many adventures there, bought my first full-size freezer, ended up with two, sold that house, moved into this house, and started a farm during COVID. We’ve been together for so long.
So, when my life imploded, it was obvious. And I have shed a lot of tears over these last several years. And you’ve also watched me claw and scratch and develop what I call my little kitten claw of hope. You have been with me while I have learned that movement is medicine. And I have learned that I get free endorphins when I walk gently. And that walking developed into being a runner. And now in 2025, we did three half marathons. We also completed a full marathon. I did well over a thousand miles in 2025.
I have been on this whole journey, and you have been with me. You have been with me as I’ve learned and worked on my bio-individual needs to reverse my insulin resistance, heal my fasting insulin, reverse pre-diabetes. You watched me on my main channel be hospitalized with my kidney multiple times. It’s been a lot, right?
So much so that I then started my second Jamerrill YouTube channel. Hello, here we are. And so the video of my weekly podcast will be on my second channel @Jamerrill. I also have a new personal site. It’s just Jamerrill.com. And so each video and audio podcast episode will live on Jamerrill.com, including our show notes, other encouraging resources, tips, and everything I share with you in that episode. You can also find it at Jamerrill.com and to find each particular episode, it’ll be Jamerrill.com/episode and then the episode number.
This is episode zero to let you in the door and let you know that we’re doing this right. I’m proud of us. And brand new today, there will be four new Jamerrill Show episodes going through topics that I hear so many of you want to hear more about. I actually am very touched. I’ve heard from several women who say, even though I just have a handful of videos on the second channel, I have heard from women who say they just watch those videos on repeat a lot because they have found them so very encouraging.
So, I thought the best way that I could serve you as I work through rebuilding my one life and encouraging women along the way who are also rebuilding their lives, is if I can give you these videos on the second channel, plus the audio podcast, plus a new personal site to be the home of all these things. And besides these first four episodes, then I will meet you back here with new episodes on the topics you want to hear about most.
So, on the Jamerrill Show, it’s definitely not going to be about perfection because, again, I’m the lady with the dishes in my sink behind me. But the Jarell Show is going to be about real conversations and companionship and community together. This show is for women who are overwhelmed and exhausted. Also for women who need hope without the sugar coating. For women needing encouragement and inspiration. And also for women who are rebuilding even while the storm is still raging.
Now, our storms can look different. We don’t have to match. The biggest thing we have in common is we are women who are healing and rebuilding and growing, taking care of ourselves so we can, in turn, take care of our people. And I know we’re going to have a really great time together.
I plan that for at least the first half of 2026, the episodes are going to be you and me. And I do hope later in 2026, I can also start having special guests on, other women and other men that I’d love to have conversations with. I have questions. I want to hear their strategies. I want to talk about all of our different favorite topics. And I think that’ll be another fun element to add in. So, some weeks we will have deeper topics. Other weeks our topics will be very practical. And many times, it’ll just feel like we’re sitting down chatting with a friend.
And I thank you so much for giving me grace and being here with me while I do this new thing and find my footing. I’ve been working ahead on my workflow so that by the time this podcast launches, I am many episodes ahead. Also, if you click the first link in the description below, I have a brand new “doing all the things” planner for you. It’s a $14.99 value, and it is free for you. You just click that link and sign up below, and I’ll get that right out to you in your email because I always love to share free resources to go along with anything it is that I create.
So, go ahead and subscribe to the Jamerrilll YouTube channel if you haven’t yet. Also, follow along where you listen to your favorite podcast. Again, the first four episodes are being launched today, and you can find that information in the description below, too. Thank you so much for being here. I appreciate you, and I’m really looking forward to us rebuilding together.
Thank you for spending time with me today on the Jamerrill Show. If anything here has encouraged you, helped you, or gave you something to hold on to today, I’d love for you to share this episode with another woman who might need it, too. You can find all the links and show notes mentioned today over at Jamerrill.com. And to find the exact episode, it’ll be Jamerrill.com/episode and then the episode number. Until next time, take the next small step. Be gentle with yourself. And remember, we’re rebuilding this one life together.
